Summary:

In this role, you will provide direct supervision of the physical environment regulatory and accreditation advisors, provide member services, and support the Principal in all daily operations. You will perform quality assurance review of the regulatory and accreditation services physical environment work products including onsite assessments, solution strategies, and internal and external education.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regulatory and accreditation assessments and document findings in a comprehensive report with an emphasis on the physical environment requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance review of member deliverables drafted by accreditation advisors such as assessment reports and quarterly CAC reports.
  • Lead program performance improvement tracking, trending, analysis and action planning.
  • Deliver education to internal and external audiences utilizing virtual technology with interactive techniques and face-to-face.
  • Perform research, analysis, and strategic planning related to post-accreditation survey activities that involve clarifications, corrective action plans, and submission of evidence of standards compliance.
  • Manage onboarding and mentoring of new physical environment regulatory and accreditation advisors.
  • Support the Principal in daily operations and manage projects as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree related to the physical environment preferred.  Master’s degree desired.
  • 10 or more years of relevant regulatory and accreditation experience required.
  • Experience providing staff education and public speaking required.
  • Proficient knowledge of the standards of The Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (TJC) and the CMS Conditions of Participation with an emphasis on the physical environment regulations required.
  • Certification in a physical environment field preferred.
  • Experience as a Joint Commission or CMS surveyor preferred.
  • Experience consulting in the area of The Joint Commission accreditation and non-financial regulations preferred.
  • Experience successfully leading health system/hospital facility accreditation activities desired.
  • Experience supervising staff in the field of facilities management.
  • Proficient using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.
