Summary

 

As a ​Senior Developer (C# .NET Microservices) at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your programming and analytical skills to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. Your role in our mission

 

Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell’s industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position.

 

  • Provide portal security support – setup users, resolve access and other user issues
  • Maintain system readiness to support client SLA.
  • Identify production issues and develop solutions to maintain uptime.
  • Work with call center agents to assist providers in signing up and using the portal.
  • Gather debugging information and assist engineering in developing solutions.
  • Test the functionality of new system changes.
  • Upgrade and maintain systems to support security requirements.
  • Create documentation as needed to support system.
  • Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs
  • Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs 
  • Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team 
  • Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise
  • Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews
  • Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed
  • Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members

What we're looking for

 

  • 6+ years of Applications Development experience with the following:

 

    • C# .NET microservices
    • Restful API architecture
    • IIS administration
    • Sharepoint
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Powershell scripting
    • AWS
    • Healthcare IT systems is highly preferred

  • Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States
  • Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
