Paragon is seeking a Senior Database Developer as we continue to grow our team. Senior Database Developers design, implement and maintain databases with respect to data loading, backup methods, validations checks and reorganization.  You will also provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing IS database initiatives across all areas of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering: Work with stakeholders (clients/internal team) to understand the requirements of the data migration project, including the data that needs to be migrated, the format of the data, and the desired outcome.
• Data mapping: Develop diagrams that map relationships between the data in the source and target systems and define how the data will be transformed and migrated from one system to the other.
• Data extraction: Extract the data from the source system and prepare it for migration to the target system. This may involve cleaning and transforming the data, as well as handling any data conflicts.
• Data analysis – Reviews/Validates the data for consistency and completeness.
• Data loading: Load the data into the target system and ensure that the data is properly formatted and integrated with the target system.
