About the role

We're looking for a talented and hands-on Senior Platform Engineer to help drive the technical vision and delivery of features in our Application Data Platform. Our Application Data Platform is designed to offer both our internal developers as well as our customers a world class developer experience empowering engineering teams and customers alike to build the features that matter most. The platform must support both analytical and operational use cases and presents interesting challenges across a variety of areas - data modeling, performance, scalability, etc.
You will work closely with Application Data Platform leadership to build and deliver our technical roadmap. On any given day you could be writing a design document that outlines how you plan to solve a particular problem we're working on, working to deliver some of the most challenging and high-leverage parts of the platform, fixing bugs or optimizing code to deliver higher performance or better overall utilization, or mentoring other engineers within the organization.
Responsibilities
To be able to work on high-impact software projects for Data Platform, you will need to:
- Be comfortable designing production-grade pipelines and systems
- Be comfortable writing and deploying production-grade code on a daily basis
- Contribute to automated tests and other parts of end-to-end software delivery
- Work collaboratively with other teams and within the team with other engineers and product managers
