Join our Data & AI Platform Engineering organization and lead the charge in transforming the fashion industry. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will develop groundbreaking solutions that grow our global business forward while being part of a dynamic, cross-continental data community.  

  

You will be a necessary member of the Ecommerce & Consumer Data Domain team. You will work on a cloud native and modern data platform, building data pipelines to building data models and transformations to delivering data products and dashboards to our partners. You will provide technical expertise and operational support to meet the data needs for our businesses. From migrating existing workloads to building advanced cloud solutions, you will help shape and build strategies to increase agility, improve security, reduce costs, and meet use targets. 

  

You will collaborate with teams including Analysts, Data Scientists, SREs, and other engineers, focusing on delivering high-quality data products that foster a culture of engineering excellence. About the Job

  • Architect and build scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large-scale clickstream and event-based data from multiple sources. 
  • Design and improve data models for behavioral analytics, ensuring efficient querying and storage for reporting and ML-driven insights. 
  • Develop ELT processes for structured and semi-structured data using modern data frameworks. 
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and observability by implementing validation and monitoring mechanisms to maintain trust in analytical outputs. 
  • Work closely with teams—including Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Marketing Analysts—to deliver applicable insights for user journey analysis, A/B testing, and personalization strategies. 
  • Improve cloud infrastructure for cost, security, and performance in handling web-scale analytics workloads. 
  • Lead junior engineers, promoting best practices in data engineering, coding, and architectural design. 
  • You will report to the Senior Solutions Architect.
  • This role can be fully remote.

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, specializing in Web Analytics and Clickstream Data processing. 
  • Hands-on experience with either Segment, Adobe, Amplitude and Google Analytics data is plus 
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices for large-scale analytics. 
  • Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python or Java for data transformation. 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) Google Cloud (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions). 
  • Experience with modern data transformation tools such as DBT, PySpark, or Snowpark. 
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau) and marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). 
  • Expertise in event-driven architectures, data streaming, and real-time processing using technologies like Pub/Sub, Kafka, Spark streaming. 
  • Experience with A/B testing, attribution modeling, Consumer analytics and user segmentation. 
  • Experience working with CI/CD, GitHub, and Agile development methodologies. 
  • Experience in solving complex problems and delivering scalable data solutions. 

The expected starting salary range for this role is $128,300 - $183,500 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
