The Senior Data Engineer/Data Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of our data infrastructure and pipelines. This role requires a visionary thinker who can transform raw data from disparate sources into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidence, trust, scalability, reliability, and security of our data ecosystem.

Develop and implement robust, scalable, and efficient data architecture solutions to meet organizational business needs on an ongoing basis.

Define data modeling standards and best practices for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

Ensure the architecture supports data quality, governance, and compliance requirements.

Design and maintain scalable company workflows for ingesting, transforming, and distributing data across systems and tools.

Automate data pipelines to handle large-scale datasets with minimal latency.

Optimize pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.

Develop error handling protocols, proactive alerting methods, and work with cross-functional stakeholders for improvements and fixes for issues that arise.

Manage data integrations from various sources and ensure data flows to expected tools for end users to utilize.

Lead the deployment and maintenance of databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.

Implement data partitioning, indexing, and optimization strategies to improve query performance.

Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements and train team on data acumen.

Develop clear communication strategies to share data insights and updates with stakeholders, enhancing transparency and trust.

Engage stakeholders through regular workshops and feedback sessions to ensure data solutions meet user needs and compliance requirements.
