 Humana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Senior Data Reporting Professional who will use various provider and healthcare data sets to develop, automate, and maintain reports that drive strategic business decisions on an analytical team.

The Senior Data Reporting Professional is an integral part of our highly analytical team that must deliver refreshed data consistently and without error, accomplished through the understanding of and ability to develop, streamline, and maintain the team’s manual and automated data reporting processes.

The Senior Data Reporting Professional responsibilities:

  • Pull and integrate data elements; actively participate and collaborate with business partners to develop the right solutions to business problems. 
  • Patiently assist others with their technical problems to help the team succeed in their goals.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail, along with an internal drive to solve complex data issues. 
  • Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
  • Simple and thoughtful report design allowing for quick digestion of the data story by non-technical users.
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 or more years of technical experience working with business or healthcare data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL with 5+ years of experience (Advanced: Query tuning, indexing, pivots, data structures, aggregate functions).
  • Experience with Power BI for creating data visualizations.
  • Experience analyzing data and preparing visuals to solve business problems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with Provider Health plan data or Healthcare Data.
  • Experience with Medicaid and working within state contractual requirements.
  • Python experience.
  • Project Management skills.

Additional Information

  • Work Location: must reside in Florida or Kentucky.
  • Workstyle: Home. Home workstyle is defined as remote but will use Humana office space on an as needed basis for collaboration and other face-to-face needs.
  • Travel: minimal travel may be required.
  • Workdays & Hours: 8-5 pm Monday – Friday Eastern Standard Time (EST) with flexible scheduling (i.e. occasional nights and weekends).

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$73,400 - $100,100 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
