Job Description

As Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in Guidehealth’s mission to improve healthcare for all by supporting the data needs of our clinical, operational, and leadership teams. You will be responsible for gathering requirements for reports and analyses and determining the best way to address those requirements. You will have access to a wide array of data sources, from traditional healthcare systems to AI-based agents, to develop effective and incisive analyses and reports. And you will have the opportunity to present your work to internal and external audiences to drive effective decision making. And your contributions to Guidehealth’s data-driven clinical programs will have the potential to positive impact the lives of all the individuals we serve today.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

  • Capturing and refining the analytic requirements of our colleagues and partners, identifying the best way to meet these needs,  
  • Developing and delivering analyses to both internal and external clients.  
  • Providing thoughtful exploration of our considerable data platform and new datasets. 
  • Presenting exciting and meaningful insights to peers and customers that could positively impact the lives of patients and clients. 
  • Identifying ways to use our data to improve our processes, communication, and reporting.  

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • 3+ years’ experience developing analytics using healthcare data, including claims and administrative data, electronic medical record (EMR) data, operations data, and other clinically relevant public and private information. 
  • Expert level experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluency in SQL, with demonstrated experience developing complex queries for production environments and ad hoc testing.  
  • Experience using data visualization tools for development of client-facing or production-level visual reports; examples include AWS QuickSight, Tableau, PowerBI, and programming languages like R and Python.
