The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:

The Senior Counsel, Regulatory Compliance role will lead the Operations & Supply Chain regulatory compliance and advocacy function.

What You Will Do

  • Identification and assessment of emerging governmental policies, regulations, and geopolitical actions aimed at the global operations and supply chain of RTX.
  • Development of center-led compliance programs, often in collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Furthermore, drive the development of enterprise-wide compliance programs and other internal controls required to enable a center-led OneRTX organization to pursue strategic sourcing engagements with suppliers globally and in furtherance of USG programs.
  • Development of advocacy submissions to further the equities of RTX.
  • Ensure that the activities of the OneRTX strategic sourcing organization comply with functional corporate policies, and associated procedures, governing the sourcing of goods and services in furtherance of USG contacts.
  • Lead a cross-functional, enterprise-wide council to drive awareness, assess and manage compliance risks, and facilitate compliance program implementation.
  • Supervise one or more team members.
  • Travel up to 5%, or as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Extensive knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense industry, RTX’s product offerings, and the global geopolitical landscape that impacts the business of RTX and the marketplace for the products we procure from a global supply chain.
  • Prior experience leading an organization of professionals; setting and driving the strategic direction for that organization; and ensuring satisfaction of a broad customer base.
  • Ability to influence across many levels of an organization, including senior leadership levels within LCC, Operations and Supply Chain, and Global Government Relations.
  • Executive presence and leadership.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and ensure follow-thorough on multiple projects simultaneously.

Location

  • Remote; this position is eligible for remote work however, must be performed within one of the U.S states, excluding U.S territories.
  • If local to Farmington, CT, on-site or hybrid may be accommodated, if desired.

The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD - 343,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
