Senior Content Strategist

The Senior Professional, Creative Development coordinates the development of advertising/marketing communications materials by creative design and creative writing services to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and prospects. The Senior Professional, Creative Development work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Professional, Creative Development applies various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the organization and its products, services and brands. Develops and coordinates multimedia packages (e.g., letters, brochures, video, point-of-purchase displays). Involves use of sponsorship, events and sales promotions. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 or more years of technical experience
- Detailed familiarity with WCAG 2.0 guidelines
- Independent self-starter and extremely detail-oriented
- Competency in design tools, including prototyping software like Balsamiq or Axure and Adobe Photoshop
- Works well in a fast-paced team environment with an agile, iterative design process
- A good theoretical and practical understanding of interaction design as it relates to accessibility and the ability to explain these features to others in a simple user-friendly way
- Ability to work as part of a team with graphics designers, UI designers, web developers, and others
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 7 or more years of related experience
- Experience in usability testing with people with disabilities
- Awareness and passion about emerging trends and innovation within usability, accessibility, or UX
- Active participant in one or more of the following professional communities: usability, accessibility, or UX
- Familiarity with assistive technology such as JAWS, Voiceover, ZoomText, and Dragon Naturally Speaking

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
