ABOUT THE ROLE

You will build the SAP consulting team in Lithuania, design and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions mainly for the manufacturing and Automotive industry: 

• You are responsible for the conversion and migration of SAP ECC-based systems to S/4HANA in demanding interface projects and transformations at major multinational customers in the automotive & manufacturing environment. 

• You advise on implication of structural transformation in the respecting process analyses and data areas. 

• You conduct agile workshops for our customers, develop best practice solutions and create technical concepts that are implemented with SAP S/4HANA. 

• In addition, you will be responsible for the development of innovative solutions and the definition and transformation of legacy data models to new S/4HANA suitable data models. 

• You manage scheduling and economic project control as well as project controlling. 

You will be seamlessly embedded in the SAP DACH organization with 4 competence centers and their experienced and collaborative consultants. You will report to the team Lead for SAP Lithuania, which belongs functionally to the portfolio “SAP Transformation” and work in close alignment with the SAP consulting organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working collaboratively with a project and client team. 

• Participating in discovery sessions with project teams to understand data requirements needed to support solution implementations. 

• Understanding a client’s problem statement regarding data across migration, data governance and analytics. 

• Leveraging system and process analysis skills to produce data strategies that create a seamless and uninterrupted experience for our clients as part of a high-talent team.  

• Applying experience in review and approval process of the business rules/mapping document and convert functional specification to technical specifications. 

• Designing ETL jobs to extract, cleanse, validate, and transform data from SAP and non-SAP data sources. 

• Creating and executing load programs to load data into SAP from Data Services using IDoc, BAPI, LSMW, LTMC & custom ABAP program load methods. 

• Utilizing Data Quality module of Data Services including cleansing, matching and de-duplication of data. 

• Developing data quality routines with real-time trigger-based alerts for data analysis utilizing SAP BODS Real Time jobs and SAP Data Quality Management. 

• Defining migration strategy, developing migration concepts, designing and prototyping of ETL processes and tools, data migration approach for testing and cutover, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. 

• Utilizing data validation, data security, and data sensitivity requirements. 

• Making difficult decisions and take action to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed degree in business administration, business informatics or similar. 

• Fluent English skills, German skills are beneficial. 

• Familiar with the SAP product portfolio and have successfully applied SAP Best Practice solutions and the Activate Methodology. 

• 5+ years of in-depth experience in data migration within the SAP environment, good knowledge of SAP system configuration, project management skills, analysis and problem-solving skills.  

• At least 3-5 Full Life Cycle Implementations in SAP including conducting Blueprint/Design workshops, requirements gathering, data mapping, gap analysis, custom object development, data loading, unit testing, integration testing and go-live strategies. 

• Understanding of SAP data dependencies across functional domains: FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, PS, WM, HCM.  

• Knowledge of other SAP data areas: SAP MDG for Data Management, SAP SAC / Datasphere for Data Analytics 

• Insights into tools such as SAP, SNP, CBS, Natuvion for architecture, planning and migration to SAP S/4HANA 

• Expertise in finance and accounting for conversions in S/4HANA systems, is comprehensive. 

• High customer orientation, service attitude and business acumen. 

• Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. 

• Strong skills in writing, mentoring, decision-making, systems as well as critical thinking and meeting facilitation. 

• Ability to coach/mentor younger colleagues into delivering quality projects and consulting services. 

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work.
