Job Summary
As Spartan’s Senior Construction Superintendent, you will lead the charge in the field, overseeing the execution of ground-up projects and expansions to existing SCM properties. This role demands a seasoned leader with expertise in managing a wide range of construction trades. You will be a driving force in upholding project schedules, managing budgets, and directing subcontractors across disciplines for projects ranging from $1 million to $25 million. This position offers a unique opportunity to take ownership, provide strategic leadership, and contribute to the continued growth of SCM’s infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and communication.
- Oversee workers and subcontractors, including scheduling, task assignments, and hiring as needed.
- Develop and manage timelines, coordinate subcontractors and equipment, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Create and manage cost estimates, monitor budgets, and implement cost-effective practices.
- Manage project scope, contracts, and permits while ensuring compliance with all codes and regulations.
- Work with clients, engineers, architects, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle to align design and execution.
- Maintain daily logs, report progress, and make adjustments to meet deadlines and resolve challenges.
- Contribute to annual planning, SOP development, and continuous process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to drive project and organizational success.

Qualifications
- 10+ Years of experience in commercial construction
- 5+ years of experience leading commercial construction projects
- Have a growth mindset in an entrepreneurial type setting
- Ability to use one’s own autonomy and creativity to be macro managed with mentorship
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proficient with construction management software, Procore and Microsoft Project preferred
