The Opportunity

The Sr. Commercial Manager, Informatics leads the commercial team for the East Region within the Diagnostics Informatics organization. Execute a clear strategy to profitably grow market share and revenue and meet or exceed plan commitments. East Region, OH eastward, down to FL and up to Maine. Incumbent would be based in a major city in the region.

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives in specified markets and geographical territories in support of the Informatics overall revenue and strategic plan
  • Develop and execute an annual strategic plan to meet sales and margin commitment.
  • Lead regional organization of >=4 direct reports plus dotted line support; ensure team is equipped with the appropriate training and resources for success.
  • Identify customer needs and support team to demonstrate the value of customers leveraging Informatics solutions products and services.
  • Create demand by identifying new products and solutions that are customer-centric with the potential to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other functions to evaluate the value and feasibility of introducing new or customized products and services.
  • Engage regularly with cross-functional team to ensure effective relationship between districts and alignment on priorities for dotted line support.
  • Join team members for field travel on a regular basis to assess business opportunities, build customer relationships, and provide coaching to all employees.
  • Develop a high-performance team, by acquiring, developing, and retaining top talent; drive a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and accountability.
  • 50% Travel Required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience leading & executing complex (multi stakeholder/multiyear) contract negotiations.
  • 5+ years in sales roles with demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse business teams and functions to ensure they work together to deliver results.
  • Proven track record in gaining market share or growing the market and/or renewing /defending existing business.
  • Experience managing a sales team.
  • Extensive Saas / Software sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience within Informatics.

The base pay for this position is

$125,300.00 – $250,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
