Insurity’s Next Senior Cloud Operations Infrastructure Administrator 

Is an aspiring leader to help build, grow and shape the cloud infrastructure at Insurity through hands-on effort and collaboration across the enterprise, and a results-driven mindset.

 

What Our Senior Cloud Operations Infrastructure Administrator Will Do

  • Work with the Cloud Adoption Framework to migrate workloads into Azure
  • Build Infrastructure as code using Terraform and\or ARM Templates
  • Understand existing application workloads to support migrations to Azure
  • Learn new cloud and serverless technologies related to application workloads
  • Implement and be responsible for network infrastructure, system and application projects.
  • Design processes, improvements, and automation.
  • Work with various internal teams to identify design specifications.
  • Work with internal and external clients to investigate and resolve complex issues related to production level systems in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Perform system maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
  • Follow established procedures to document, resolve and/or raise network incidents.
  • Troubleshoots problems by analyzing root causes and evaluating multiple options.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Documents problem status and resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software components as required
  • Recommend industry best practices.
  • Participates in rotating team on-call support for production systems.
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Microsoft’s Software Suite
  • Public Cloud Experience in Azure
  • Experience with the Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
  • Experience with Git and Azure Devops
  • Experience with Entra Id
  • Experience setting up and managing domains in Active Directory
  • Experience with Checkpoint Firewall
  • Experience setting up networks
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting public and private Infrastructure & Networking.
  • Demonstrated experience with internal and external systems integration.
  • Automation through PowerShell Scripting.
  • Ability to read and look at .Net Code

Required Experience

  • MS Azure certifications
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and serverless architecture
  • Expert in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server OS, Azure, and IIS
  • MS Office, Workflow management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)
  • Minimum 4 years in a 24x7 high-availability production environment
  • 0-25% travel may be required

We have five Core Values at Insurity; one of which is to Act with Integrity. Providing pay transparency helps you make the best decision for you. We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps. Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $75,000 - 135,000, commensurate with experience.
