Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer 
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 17.00, 36.25 hours per week 
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 and up to 20% bonus and benefits 
Location: Flexible – Embrace either a fully remote role or hybrid work from any of our vibrant UK offices in London, Cardiff, Durham, or Blackpool

Reporting to the Cloud Platform Lead you’ll be responsible for improving the both the operational and cost efficiency of our AWS estate. You’ll be working on all aspects of modernisation of our cloud systems, converting legacy infrastructure to modern vendor- neutral Terraform IaC and removing waste along the way.

Role Summary   Working under the direction of your Tech Lead, you're focus will be providing resilient and efficient cloud infrastructure. You'll perform and teach in activities, providing a structured environment for Junior and Mid-level colleagues. You will refine, plan and help create tickets in our work management system. You will help to plan and report on your squads work. You'll participate in and lead design sessions with the team to help generate and select appropriate ideas and solutions. You are an excellent written and oral communicator who is proactive and polite in their approach to others right across the business.
