The Growth Marketing team at Posit is responsible for strategizing and executing growth marketing strategies to drive opportunities, pipeline, and closed-won bookings through multi-channel, value-based marketing campaigns. The Sr Campaign Manager plays a vital role in the overall Demand Generation function, spearheading the team in coordinating, developing, and optimizing global campaigns. This person will work across the marketing organization to bring campaigns to life, planning, developing, executing, optimizing, and reporting on the overall success. Responsible for managing all activities necessary to enter the market cohesively and efficiently, the Sr. Manager is the cornerstone upon which an initiative is built.

This role reports to the VP of Growth Marketing and seeks to understand the goals of the business and form project teams of domain experts to execute the campaigns and drive towards the desired goals. This role requires a person who can develop a plan and work cross-functionally to have it executed in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention-to-detail and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the demand funnel, campaign analysis, and reporting. This candidate should feel comfortable being incredibly autonomous and directing campaign strategies in a player and coach role.

 

What you will own: 

  • Define integrated campaigns across Posit using our campaign framework and include four program families: reputation, demand, enablement, and engagement to drive awareness, engagement, and marketing-sourced pipeline.
  • Cultivate a customer-centric approach, demonstrating an understanding of the target audience and their journey. Leverage these insights to craft campaigns that resonate with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Provide actionable insights to refine tactics and messaging, collaborating closely with the product marketing team.
  • Lead and execute paid media and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs with 6Sense and CommonRoom.
  • Lead gen, Pipeline, and Opportunity goals for the campaigns that they would lead.

 

What you will assist with: 

  • Collaborate closely with sales and sales development teams to create and implement a performance-based, omnichannel demand gen strategy through a clear communication plan, including feedback and continuous optimization.
  • Determine content needs and gaps that align with the initiative's theme and messaging and commission new assets for the campaign across the organization as necessary.
  • Work with the Product Marketing team on GTM launches, campaign messaging, and narratives so that there is a clear targeting of our ICPs.
  • Work with customer marketing to further strengthen value messaging in campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Ops to seamlessly integrate tools and capabilities that drive performance across emails, ABM, website, and overall program mix.

 

What you will learn: 

  • Demonstrable track record in campaign management with experience in driving growth for B2B software in the Data Science Industry.
  • Background in marketing products for data analytics, data science, data management, or business intelligence (highly desirable).
  • Experience with open-source software and/or developer tools (highly desirable).
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms with brand voice and conversion in mind across multiple campaign channels.

 

A bit about you: 

  • Proven track record of developing and executing integrated campaigns across key channels that generate pipeline in close collaboration with extended team members in sales, marketing, customer success, product management etc.
  • Background with establishing a campaign framework that illustrates a buyer’s journey path from MEL, MQL, SAL and SQL.
  • Familiarity communicating launch dates and progress information, including the content calendar, to management and stakeholders.
  • Experience using Marketo, Salesforce,6Sense/ABM tools and dashboards for campaign analysis. Independently pull metrics and reports, tell a story with data, and make data-informed decisions on future investments.

 

Within 1 month, you’ll…

  • Familiarize yourself with Posit business, product offerings, and meet key stakeholders and business partners.
  • Understand the buyer’s journey for the assigned product/industry or use case campaign in tight collaboration with the Product Marketing Management (PMM) team.
  • Get an understanding of the current KPIs, review past performance through QBR content.
  • Explore the various channels that get activated during execution by aligning and communicating with growth marketing peers.
  • Understand our MarTech stack and identify gaps, if any.

 

Within 3 months, you’ll…

  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of the buyer’s journey mapping with content, identify gaps, and plan content creation in collaboration with the PMM team.
  • Be an active participant in the website optimization process.
  • Work with sales to kick off ABM programs with clear goals in terms of leads, opportunities, and pipeline.
  • Work with peers in marketing and sales on lead flow, follow-up strategies to ensure seamless handoff of leads from marketing to Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs).
  • Plan and execute at least one webinar, collaborate on 2 events, and 2-3 digital content/assets supporting the campaign and weaved into nurture streams.

 

Within 6 months, you’ll…

  • Meet lead, pipeline, and opportunity goals and ensure that the learnings are shared across the organization.
  • Create repeatable ABM motions to support business goals.
  • Collaborate with customer marketing to plan 2 customer webinars/content/nurture streams supporting the campaign theme.
  • Present at the QBR to the executive team and become the SME for respective campaigns and GTM motions.
  • Plan and execute reputation, demand creation, and customer engagement programs across ICP, customers, and partners.
  • Create a smooth campaign enablement process for SDRs in collaboration with the Campaign Managers.

 

Within 12 months, you’ll…

  • Drive measurable and predictable campaign Impact through flawless execution and a sense of urgency.
  • Launch a fully integrated ABM campaign that produces measurable results.
  • Review campaign efficiencies and content strategies and find gaps that can be narrowed.
  • Build SDR enablement, collaboration, and partnerships through repeatable processes and systems.
  • Align with customer/partner/channel partners to produce joint marketing motions with clear goals.
  • Plan 2026 goals using data and insight from 2025 campaign execution and results.

This hiring range reflects base salary and assumes that the job will be performed in the United States.

Hiring Range$120,600—$152,010 USD
