Senior Business Intelligence Developer
Remote - Florida
The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of data models and reporting solutions that meet business reporting and analytical objectives. In addition, they will also be responsible for helping to establish efficient processes to maintain data models, and ensure data accuracy and stability. This individual will serve as a liaison between IT and business to actualize data requests and the functional delivery of business reporting needs. The candidate will own reporting projects from end to end (gathering business requirements to deployment and fixes) and manage ad-hoc requests. This person must be able to prioritize tasks and proactively communicate priorities.
Essential Functions
Coach and mentor other Business Intelligence Analysts as needed
Develop data models to support reporting and analytical needs
Develop the processes to maintain the data in an accurate and stable environment
Create reports and dashboards to measure and inform business partners on KPI's and metrics
Partner with I.T. on data requirements needed to support the building of data models
Partner with business teams to gather, document, and maintain business requirements
Responsible for creating a continuous improvement process, investigating problems, generating recommendations, and implementing solutions based on the use of analytical tools
Develop, support, and maintain reports and dashboards
RequirementsJob Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Programming or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 6 years of experience building data models, reports, and dashboards
Advanced SQL language skills, and knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience building data visualizations using Power BI
Crystal Reports knowledge is a plus
Strong interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines while using analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a busy environment
Must have the ability to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours

The compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets.
