Job Type Full-time Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. This role involves working closely with IT professionals to build large distributed systems and streamline user experiences. The Senior Business Analyst will act as the primary liaison between business clients and developers, translating business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

Non-technical activities:

  • Define and document customer business functions and processes.
  • Develop and coordinate flawless reporting and process designs in collaboration with Project Management.
  • Consult with functional unit management to document business needs, operational procedures, and input/output requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and team members throughout the client life cycle.

Technical activities:

  • Applies activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis, and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.
  • Perform gap analysis and offer multiple solutions for identified gaps.
  • Lead business process re-engineering and improvement projects.
  • Develop repeatable techniques and standardization to enhance contract effectiveness, client satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead various project methodologies and improvement efforts, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and serves as the technical liaison between front-line deficiencies and application support teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis for key projects, ensuring alignment with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business clients and developers to ensure clear communication and requirements understanding.
  • Support agile sprints by serving as Scrum Master and ensuring deliverables meet business expectations.
  • Conduct business process improvements, gap analysis, and documentation to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and work with the team to implement process optimizations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field or significant equivalent experience.
  • Strong deductive reasoning skills to anticipate client needs.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and serving as Scrum Master.
  • Proficient in business process documentation and gap analysis.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide business solutions.
  • Experience working in a matrixed team environment.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Scrum Master Certification.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Visio, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in process improvement and business process re-engineering.

Other Information:

  • The salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 annually
