ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge of the commercial insurance business to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our BI project aligns with strategic objectives and delivers value to stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to commercial insurance.

• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories for the development team.

• Conduct thorough analysis of current processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

• Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.

• Provide expertise and insights into commercial insurance products, underwriting, claims, and policy management.

• Work closely with data engineers, Power BI developers, and other technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

• Assist in the design and implementation of dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into commercial insurance operations.

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.

• Maintain and update documentation related to business analysis processes and project deliverables in accordance with Allianz Technology standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on commercial insurance.

• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Proven experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications.

• Advanced English proficiency is a must.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization concepts is a plus.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is desirable.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
