Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, Innovation & Transformation, the Senior Business Analyst, Innovation is responsible on a firm-wide basis for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, analyze requirements, and ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions that drive business value.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational objectives
- Analyze and map current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and implement solutions that address business challenges
- Assist in the creation of project plans, timelines, and deliverables to support the successful execution of initiatives
- Provide data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making and monitor project performance
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding of goals and requirements
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including workflows, business cases, and user stories
- Support change management efforts by developing training materials and assisting with user adoption
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative solutions
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with experience in a professional services environment a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business needs
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus
