Job Description
The expected pay range for this position is $145,000 to $150,000 yearly. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops using various techniques to gather requirements from stakeholders. Analyze requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and unambiguous.
- Document existing processes and design improved ones, often with the help of diagrams and flowcharts.
- Define and document user journeys representing interaction scenarios.
- Create and evolve design documentation and artifacts, including workflows, task flows, user flows, site maps, annotated wireframes, functional requirements, functional prototypes and research results.
- Envision and define innovative and effective flows and interaction styles to improve efficiency and user productivity.
- Evaluate potential solutions for feasibility and assess their impact on the business and existing systems.
- Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and the IT team to ensure clear communication and alignment of expectations.
- Assist in the implementation of new systems or processes, including training and support for end-users.
Expected Work Products:
- Business Requirements Document (BRD): A detailed description of business needs and the criteria for solution acceptance.
- Functional Specifications: A document that outlines the functionality required to meet the business needs, often including use cases or user stories.
- Technical Specifications: Detailed specifications that IT developers use to design and implement the solution. This could be part of or separate from the Functional Specifications, depending on the organization's methodology.
- Process Diagrams: Visual representations of current and future business processes, using notations like BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
- Data Models: Diagrams or documents that describe how data is to be structured and managed within the system.
