Will be working in a batch schedule environment primarily with C/Unix as the core language and servers. The developer will be coding in C as their primary task. Oracle is the primary database and is used throughout the company. We are looking for driven developers who pursue challenges and are not content to sit in the background. We also are looking for people who have done production support for a large batch cycle system.
Developers that thrive in design efforts and like solving problems will be well suited to these opportunities. We want to hear what you have done with code and how you built solutions. The key is communicating how you contribute to success and delivery as a developer.
- Participates as a member of development team.
- Completes development of units and also conducts reviews designs prepared by junior development teams.
- Participates in code reviews. Prepares and executes unit tests.
- Will perform unit design.
- Applies Gainwell and 3rd party technologies to software solutions of moderate to advanced complexity.
- Follows the defined systems development life cycle processes and local procedures
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of programming experience with batch programming and writing code using UNIX (C, C++, shell, editors). Must have C programming experience.
- Use Object-oriented Analysis & Design concepts proficiently to architect custom solutions
- Experienced in developing applications using JAVA/J2EE and Spring Boot Microservices (Must have C programming experience; can not consider applicants who only have C++ or Java experience)
- Design, Implement & Support solutions for API security, authentication, identity management, traffic management, analytics, and performance management for APIs
- Intermediate Understanding of RDBMS database with SQL and Oracle experience

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
