Senior Backend Developer (.NET/Azure) - Remote - Hereford, England, United Kingdom - Remote

TSD is a leading technical integration and engineering company that specializes in bespoke applications, e-commerce, and systems integration. We work on a variety of projects, ranging from real-time bidding systems and high-traffic e-commerce websites to big-data analytics and high-speed transactional middleware.

As a Senior Backend Developer (.NET/Azure) at TSD, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into well-designed and efficient code. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and performance of the systems.

Our tech stack primarily includes C#, .NET Framework & .NET Core, Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Blob Storage, Service Bus), and related backend technologies. You will work in an agile development environment, collaborating with team members using tools like Slack and Git.

This is a full-time, remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere. Our team is spread all over the UK, and we've been successfully working remotely for over 10 years.

Requirements

Full-time role (37.5hrs pw), fully remote, Senior Backend Developer with expertise in .NET and Microsoft Azure. Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework & .NET Core is required. Knowledge of Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Blob Storage, and Service Bus is essential.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in backend development using C# and .NET
• Proficiency in .NET Framework & .NET Core
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Functions, Blob Storage, and Service Bus
• Experience with designing and developing scalable and efficient backend systems
• Understanding of software development best practices including version control (Git) and testing methodologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of Azure Fabric/Synapse would be an advantage
