This is a hybrid role with 3 days required in our midtown Manhattan office.

Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the role of Senior Associate - VP Strategy & Corporate Development located in New York City. The successful candidate will identify and analyze possible mergers, acquisitions and divestitures to develop recommendations and to project financial impact on the company's portfolio and capabilities.

We will count on you to:

• Work independently with minimal supervision, assessing possible acquisition, merger, divestiture and strategic partnerships in line with the company's long-term goals
• Due diligence: Lead or co-lead a transaction execution team to perform in-depth analysis of target companies, including financial modeling and transaction structuring. Coordinate functional team due diligence and engage actively with external advisors
• Deal Sourcing: Build partnerships with business leadership to identify possible acquisition, divestiture, merger, and strategic partnerships, conducting market research and analyzing financial statements to assess viability
• Financial Modeling: Develop financial analyses, including valuation, cash flow analysis and financial projections.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, functional teams and external advisors

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of M&A, Strategy, Corporate Development or Valuation Advisory experience gained in a global, complex enterprise
