About the Role: 

The Strategy & Planning Senior Associate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation and maintenance of regular merchandising team reporting, processes, and tools. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is curious and enjoys solving complex problems, and who never stops looking for a better way to do things. When they find themselves in uncharted territory, they are excited, rather than intimidated. 

This role will report to the Senior Manager of Strategy Planning.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble and synthesize data for routine reporting, including compiling and analyzing data from multiple sources and creating templates that outline the data in a cohesive and digestible action oriented format
  • Project manage the timely completion of critical tasks required to open the storefront each week, as well as those required for longer term special initiatives
  • Help build and maintain complex tools based in Excel/Google Sheets that are used across the org, including troubleshooting errors and inaccuracies
  • Work closely with category management and inventory planning partners to drive continuous improvement and find efficiencies in inventory management, assortment planning, pricing, and tool/process building
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support for category management and inventory planning partners as needed
