Senior Associate, Licensing & Credentialing

About the Role:

As Senior Associate, Licensing & Credentialing, you will work to help manage licensure and credentialing for our clinicians (MD, NP, PA, RN, LCSW, PharmD) as we scale. You’ll work closely with our Care Delivery Services, Market Clinical Operations, People Ops, and Compliance teams to manage a best-in-class credentialing function at Cityblock.

Responsibilities:

  • Fully manage and run our licensing and credentialing program and optimize where opportunities exist. 

  • Provide introductions to new providers and work closely with them to support the credentialing application process

  • Maintain record of current state licensure, DEA certification, malpractice coverage, and other required credentialing documentation and expiration dates for all providers

  • Project manage renewal process for all provider licensing and credentialing 

  • Work with new providers to establish licensure and work through the credentialing process with our health plan partners 

  • Serve as a point person to health plan partners to process, update, and manage credentialing submission and re-credentialing needs

  • Lead efforts around building in-house credentialing functions, as applicable

 

Skills Required

  • Seamless and organized management of all provider licensing, credentialing, and malpractice. Structure in place for timely credentialing processing, communications, and tracking mechanism to position Cityblock for delegated credentialing over time. Start-to-end workflows being executed accurately and expeditiously for credentialing process across all markets

  • Identification of necessary external systems required for comprehensive credentialing

  • Strong, trusting relationships built with partner counterpart

  • Credentialing Expertise: Strong knowledge of NCQA credentialing requirements and certified programs 

 

Requirements for the Role:

  • Education

    • Bachelor’s degree 

    • Specialty Area: Credentialing

  • Experience

    • 3+ years of credentialing experience

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is: 

$74,000 – $102,000
