Coinbase’s Quests & Learning Rewards programs help a key customer group of ours—asset issuers & crypto enterprises—in educating and acquiring new users. Our goal is to bring 1 billion users onchain, and this role is pivotal towards that goal. Quests & Learning Rewards programs help Coinbase users discover how specific cryptocurrencies work — and give them a bit of to try out onchain. It’s a fun and easy way for our users to dip their toes into the exciting applications and use cases that are unlocked with crypto. As the Sr Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of these promotional campaigns and for driving continuous program improvements. In doing so, you’ll partner closely with many internal partners from different teams while serving as the primary point of contact for our external partner on all operational aspects of their campaign. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Lead the end-to-end process of launching Coinbase Wallet Quests & Learning Rewards campaigns – including partner management, launch operations, campaign measurement, and continuous improvement/automation.
  • Work closely with Sales/BD teams to facilitate partner onboarding and respond to prospect inquiries. Coordinate with Customer Experience (CX) teams to handle inquiries and follow up on promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with internal partner teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Finance, Marketing, CX, and Sales/BD to drive the launch of each campaign. You are responsible for ensuring requirements are known, timelines are met, and stakeholders are kept informed of updates. 
  • Be the primary operational liaison for external clients initiating campaigns, providing comprehensive support before, during, and after the campaign lifecycle.
  • Own and execute a roadmap to implement constant improvements to increase the program’s efficiency and efficacy. Listen to, and triage feedback from your stakeholders (internal and external) to drive the most impactful improvements.
  • Cascade information, updates, and blockers to your stakeholders in a timely manner while being clear and concise. Be a leader who sees around corners - anticipate what may go wrong before it happens.
  • You will be responsible for learning how to communicate with internal teams that have different backgrounds and priorities. If you encounter blockers, you’ll propose creative solutions and use your learnings to create better processes going forward. 
  • Coordinate the launch of campaigns, follow-up actions, and results reporting. Address follow-up requests from partners, such as content updates or modifications to rewards.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance, automate and scale operational processes with your XFN partners. 

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): 

  • 4+ years of program management or consulting experience at a technology company and/or in a technical capacity.
  • Able to manage multiple internal/external stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
  • A passion for crypto and a robust onchain resume. 
  • You roll up your sleeves and get it done. Whatever it takes, you find a way. 
  • A results-driven mindset with humility and self-awareness.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enjoy solving hard problems and can turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into action plans.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects across internal and external stakeholders through clear communication, strong analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative), and a constant focus on operational excellence.
  • Prior experience scaling a product or process without hiring or outsourcing.

Nice to haves:

  • Prior work experience in the cryptocurrency industry. 
  • Active crypto content creator through public channels like X, Mirror, Farcaster, etc.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).Pay Range: $144,500—$170,000 USD
