Your role in our mission

  • Senior Developer to provide lead support of system modifications and contractual requirements
  • Analyze, design and write specifications and requirements from which we develop and code programs
  • Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs
  • Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews
  • Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team
  • Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise
  • Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed

What we're looking for

 

6 + years of applications development, batch programming and testing experience with UNIX/LINUX, C and SQL:

  • C language is required, and Pro C and C++ is preferred
  • 5+ years Provider subsystem experience is required
  • Experience in Medicaid IT systems is required
  • design principles and end-to-end software development life cycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for the design, creation and testing of systems
  • Support personnel and clients, and for documenting and executing unit test cases

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
