What You Will Do:

The Senior Analyst, Commodity Management & Sourcing filling this role will have exposure to the strategic supply chain supporting the Pratt & Whitney (P&W) military engine business.  This highly motivated team player will complete a team serving as the focal between the Military Engines Business Acquisition Center of Excellence (BACE), the P&W Global Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing teams, and our external supply base.

  • Interface with BACE team to achieve understanding of multiple concurrent proposals  
  • Manage personal resources and priorities across numerous competing and dynamic demands to ensure that all program objectives are met
  • Liaise with Strategic Sourcing team to achieve understanding of commodity landscape and supporting contracts 
  • Communicating with proposal, pricing, strategic sourcing, and purchasing teams
  • Soliciting and retrieving pricing proposals from the external supply base
  • Interpreting existing contracts for pricing and escalation terms
  • Performing entry, communication, and storage of all data
  • Support team's management of processes and supporting systems to: 
  • Reliably generate complete, timely, and accurate cost data to support proposals
  • Transmit and archive data in support of proposals
  • Interface with procurement organization
  • Communicate efficiently with other teams
  • Report and communicate status to proposal and procurement stakeholders

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field and 2 years of experience in business, supply chain or related field.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience within Procurement or other comparable Supply Chain role

This role is:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
