Your role at Sephora:
The Sr. Analyst, Promotion Analytics plays a critical role supporting the Sephora business. The person is responsible for answering complex business questions related to Sephora's promotional strategy by leveraging client purchase data, digital data, and competitive insights.  In order to answer these questions, this candidate will leverage past experience scenario forecasting, test planning, and deep adhoc analysis.  The ideal candidate has outstanding analytic skills, strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal abilities. The role resides within the Analytics team and partners with the marketing and business teams to drive Sephora's promotional strategies forward. In addition, you will: 

 

  • Serve as a strategic thought leader as we evolve our promotional programs
  • Build and maintain a suite of reports that provide promotion performance highlights and insights
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to answer strategic business questions
  • Leverage data analysis to influence Sephora strategies through actionable insights and clear stories. 
  • Build promotion scenario models to provide insight into the impact of promotion strategy changes.
  • Complete post promotion hindsight’s, evaluating promotion performance against revenue goals and learning agendas.
  • Partners with the promotion and marketing operations teams to build testing methodologies and strategies to provide insight into business questions regarding incrementality, pull forward, client fatigue.
