The Opportunity:
TrueCar is seeking a driven Senior Analyst, Pricing Strategy & Operations to join our high-performing Finance team. In this role reporting to the Manager of Pricing Strategy & Operations, you’ll be responsible for defining, operationalizing, and reporting on our subscription billing model. Additionally, you will support the incentive compensation process for our Sales team. This role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration with Dealer Sales & Service, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Legal, Analytics, and Marketing.
How you will contribute to TrueCar’s success:
- In-depth Analysis: Prepare regular materials and reports for management highlighting operational/financial performance metrics, historical results, forecasts, and trends
- Business Insights: Manage and drive improvements to comprehensive KPI reports, including detailed operational and revenue analysis
- Strategic Projects: Assist in a wide variety of key special projects for the Dealer Sales and Service Teams and build business cases to support decisions
- Drive Results: Monitor Certified Dealer network trends, and provide fact-based recommendations to proactively mitigate issues before they arise
- Collaborate: Contribute as a team player and work with the team and key stakeholders across the organization to get things done
Your Expertise:
- Proven experience working as an Analyst/Senior Analyst in Consulting, Finance, Operations, Sales, Pricing or Business Intelligence
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or other robust CRM systems
- Comfortable performing analysis on large data sets to derive insights and creatively articulating recommendations to executive-level management in a clear and concise manner
- Superb attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Great work ethic complemented by a positive attitude and a desire to learn
- Demonstrated history of becoming a subject matter expert, taking ownership, and working collaboratively to drive measurable results
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including modeling) and PowerPoint
- Passion for the automotive and technology industries
- Exposure to emerging, high-growth companies in the automotive, technology, or internet sectors is a plus
- Experience with project management methodologies and tracking software such as JIRA is a plus
- Experience working with Sales and Service teams in a large organization is a plus
- Experience with SQL, Microstrategy, Tableau, or other BI tools is a plus
Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000
