Job DescriptionIn this role you’ll operate as a cross-market analytical consultant to internal stakeholders on critical imperatives with a direct focus on our Care Management and Village Medical at Home (primary care in the home) programs. These two clinical programs are rapidly growing across all VillageMD’s markets and are critical in providing high quality care to the patients who need it the most. Providing analytical support to these programs will involve using data from a variety of sources, including ambulatory electronic medical records (EMR), medical and pharmacy claims, and other critical business systems. As our organization continues to grow, so do the opportunities to develop your skills and gain exposure to different areas of our business and model of care.
How you can make a difference
During your first year, you can expect the following professional challenges:
- Perform deep dive analyses to drive recommendations for improved patient health outcomes along with validating the value of our clinical model
- Create reports that display performance across operational process metrics to ensure adherence to protocols
- Get up to speed on our data model and business model, and make recommendations for changes to improve analytics
- Mine patient and healthcare provider data from multiple sources, including medical claims data, pharmacy claims data, operational data from workflows, and clinical data from electronic medical records, to discover key analytical insights for decision support
- Build relationships with senior level operations leadership to understand multifaceted business problems and develop analytical solutions to complex issues
- Develop proprietary analytical tools, such as predictive models
- Develop business and technical requirements for database and system development

- A clear focus on delivering actionable insights to help operational customers deliver better care, improve patient outcomes, and lower unnecessary cost and utilization
Experience to drive change
- 2+ years of full-time experience working in an analytical, reporting or data management role.
- BS/MS in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics, math, engineering, economics, or other related fields is preferred
- Healthcare analytics experience preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to use analytical methods and tools to derive actionable insights from data.
- Strong experience with SQL and Tableau or other data visualization software is preferred, along with a desire to continue to enhance your technical skillset across these tools.
This is an exempt position. The base compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan.
