What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.
Responsibilities
- Provider Payment Reconciliation: This involves comparing financial records with bank or payment provider statements to ensure that the accounting is accurate. It includes verifying and reconciling payments made for services rendered to policyholders, identifying errors or overpayments.
- Claims Reconciliation: This involves comparing claims submitted to insurance companies with the payments received. It ensures that all claims are accurately processed and paid.
- Subject Matter Expert for Recon Plus and CPR+ (Pharmacy ERG)
- Detailed oriented and the ability to resolve complex reconciliation issues within the Pharmacy ERP system and payments received rom the Providers
- AR Aging reconciliation and the ability to identify issues and able to recommend a resolution.
- Clean up Project - AR Aging Research with the Payment Providers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of pharmacy insurance claims and reconciliation experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

- Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
Anticipated salary range: $56,200-$80,400
