Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Advanced knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness certification and compliance criteria
Advanced knowledge of safety critical flight systems
Advanced knowledge of system and subsystem risk evaluation and analyses
Experience with Design Assurance and Agile development
Experience with ARP-4761
Experience with DO-178C/DO-254
Experience with System Safety Risk Assessments (SSRA) and Functional Hazard Analyses (FHA)
Experience planning and overseeing execution of airworthiness development efforts
Strong organization skills and work ethic
The ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Advanced Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516C
Familiarity with bi-directional traceability
Familiarity with software development processes
Familiarity with Verification, Validation, and Quality Assurance
Background in the Aerospace and/or Defense Industry
Progressive experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
Ability to establish and track key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $130,442.85 - $179,358.93. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
