THE JOB: Senior Administrative Assistant, Quality Impact

The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.

Starting Salary Range: $49,991 - $62,489

Reporting to the Provincial Manager, Quality Improvement, the Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing integrated administrative support to the Provincial Manager and other team members, with any related initiatives, projects and working groups. The Senior Administrative Assistant is expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills as they will compose and edit correspondence, and a variety of high level documents for the Manager, such as meeting minutes, briefing notes, agendas, and power point presentations. This will require someone who has outstanding attention to detail, a high-level of confidentiality and the political acumen to communicate with diverse team and committee members.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • High school graduation supplemented by post-secondary education such as business and secretarial courses, workshops and seminars as well as one year of related experience; OR an equivalent level or related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education may also be
  • Excellent writing skills and proven ability to develop clear, concise and comprehensive written communication
  • Excellent judgment in setting priorities, identifying issues and determining action required when working under pressure and deadlines
  • Superior interpersonal, oral communication and relationship management skills
  • Adept at balancing major concurrent tasks and projects and working with both internal staff and stakeholders in a coordinated manner
  • Proven ability to respond to a wide variety of issues and deal with unclear situations and conflicting demands, andto seek leadership direction and support with priority setting when needed
  • Knowledge of Committee functions and processes is an asset
  • Excellent computer skills using Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of the team
