Senior Accountant (US Game Development, Home-based)

Salary: P80,000 – P100,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM Pacific Time)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2+ years’ experience in corporate accounting including financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, proficient with spreadsheets
• Experience in using QuickBooks Online

Nice to have:

• Technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with US GAAP is a plus

What will you do?

• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., by assets, liabilities, and expenses)
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and intercompany balances monthly
• Conduct month-end and year-end closures
• Prepare monthly journal entries, and performance report, explaining variances
• Prepare and provide documentation for quarterly sales tax returns and annual income tax returns
• Manage all invoicing and statement reconciliation
• Assist Manager with the annual financial audits, including developing audit schedules, ensuring required documentation is prepared in a timely manner, and interacting with the auditors.
• Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes
• Assist Accounting Manager with preparing financial statements, budgets, and reports for management
