Senior Accountant I is responsible for performing month-end close journal entries, reconciliations and analytics, assisting with preparation of financial statements and reports for the US and Foreign entities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position reports to Sr. Managing Accountant.

Senior Accountant I is responsible for performing month-end close journal entries, reconciliations and analytics, assisting with preparation of financial statements and reports for the US and Foreign entities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position reports to Sr. Managing Accountant.
What You Will Do
- You will have an opportunity to serve as a key contributor to the corporate accounting team and strengthen your understanding of both operational and technical accounting processes.
- Be responsible for accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures and prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Analyze actual results and provide variance analysis.
- Prepare and review month-end close journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and analytics over significant account balances.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Assist with annual audits, tax schedules, and special projects as needed.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies/procedures.
- Explores the modification and implementation of changes in key systems and procedures.
- Research complex questions, investigate their impact, and make recommendations for implementation.
- Work on infrastructure development projects in Oracle, Salesforce, and other systems.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or relevant corporate accounting experience in large or high-growth companies.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiastic, self-starter who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to manage competing priorities and adapt to change and uncertainty.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with virtual teams.
- Advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and accounting software (i.e. Oracle ERP) systems.
What We Offer
- The base salary range for this position is $80K to $90K. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
