We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our global finance team. This role will report to the Accounting Manager. In this role, you will assist in the financial accounting processes, monthly/quarterly close, reconciling of accounts, as well as preparing accounting reports and facts in accordance with guidelines. This individual will have the opportunity to be a key player in shaping processes and controls. Candidates are expected to have a high aptitude and enthusiasm for conducting financial analysis; have demonstrated problem solving skills; and the ability to thrive in fast paced environments and work independently.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to prepare the COGS allocation calculation during the month-end close, ensuring compliance with the company's ASC 705 Cost of Sales and Services policy. 
• Work closely with the supply chain and logistics team to prepare the inventory capitalization calculation during month-end close, ensuring accurate alignment of expense capitalization with inventory movements.
• Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure inventory costs are accurately captured in all inventory transactions within the ERP system.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations related to inventory and cost of sales.
• Analyze income statement accounts related to cost of sales and collaborate closely with FP&A team members on actual and forecast analysis.
• Assist with preparation of excess and obsolete inventory analysis and reserves.
