What you'll do
- Prepare global reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly and consolidation), collaborating with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion
- Research and provide guidance around complex accounting transactions, including but not limited to: revenue recognition, collaborations, fixed assets, impairment, debt and equity financing, stock compensation, intercompany balance reconciliation and business acquisitions
- Own revenue recognition and accounts receivable reserve
- Oversee accounting and reconciliation activities for debt, lease and equity plan
- Establish, maintain and ensure compliance for Company accounting policies
- Provide significant support of the annual financial statement audit, including oversight of third-party subject matter experts and work with external audit firm
- Oversee GAAP adjustments, monitor GAAP changes and implement best practices
- Review commissions calculations and accrual
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing the full cycle account process that includes month end process, accruals, revenue recognition, costing, reporting, complex transactions, GAAP adjustments. foreign subsidiaries, and global operations is required.
- 2-3 years of in-depth experience working in the SaaS industry is required.
- Advanced experience using NetSuite is required, experience implementing is highly preferred.
- Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to navigate challenging situations is required.
- CPA License highly preferred.
- Self starter with the ability to manage tight deadlines, detail orientated and work independently is required.
- Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
