Major Responsibilities:
- Lead in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual close financial reporting for internal and external use.
- Prepare and review of journal entries and monthly reconciliations ensuring transaction are recorded in accordance with GAAP.
- Analyze financial results and perform variance analysis to budget and prior year.
- Review customer billing requests and record monthly revenues.
- Review and record Capitalized IT labor and Capitalized Content Development
- Provide support to management as needed, including ad-hoc financial analysis, and special projects.
- Ensure all internal controls are maintained and in compliance with company policy
- Automate processes and reduce effort required for preparation of financial statements to allow focus on value added analysis.
- Lead in creation of process documents for finance functions.
Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP
- Ability to take initiative and operate independently
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- CPA
- Experience with MS Dynamics GP ERP including Management Reporter
- Strong project management, and process improvement skills
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and to lead and drive complex initiatives.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year, based on a 40 hour work week.
