Senior Accountant - REMOTE - Moon Township, PA, United States

Essential Duties 

  • Responsible for external reporting process including quarterly report on form 10-Q and annual report on form 10-K filed with the Company’s Term Loan administrator in accordance with disclosure rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Assists in other filings that may arise through debt or equity offerings.
  • Assists in quarterly earnings call process including the call script, Q&A, and other supporting materials. 
  • Completes technical accounting research and preparation of technical accounting memos for applicable issues.
  • Owns, develops and updates accounting policies. 
  • Assists in the technical accounting and financial consolidation related to the acquisitions of businesses, from accounting due diligence phase through the integration phase, including coordination of internal and external accounting and valuation specialists, financial reporting and analysis, and governance and control related activities post close
  • Completes applicable internal reporting packages including reporting of financial information to the company’s Executive team and Board of Directors.
  • Key role in responding to requests from the external auditor.
  • Responsible for key areas of the monthly accounting close cycle, including debt, key reserves, stock-based compensation among other items with corresponding completion of applicable reconciliations to ensure all financial statement balances are fairly stated as well as supporting analysis.
  • Participate in internal controls activities – including, but not limited to, documentation, testing, and reporting.

 

Experience

5+ years of public accounting or public accounting in combination with industry experience. Big Four experience preferred. 

 

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Active CPA License

 

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Access) 
  • Interpersonal skills required to effectively work with all levels of management.
  • Ability to organize workload required to research and answer questions and complete duties in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project deadlines in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage their workload and handle competing priorities

 

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $93,844 - $135,504. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
