Position Description
The mission of the Anoka County Finance department is to enrich our community by providing quality services and assuring financial integrity. The department has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant who will perform various duties, include the maintenance of financial and business transactions and applying accounting principles. This will include work that is analytical, evaluative, and advisory in nature and requires an understanding of both accounting theory and practice.
This is a full-time, exempt position. Interviews will take place on Friday March 7th, 2025, for those selected to move forward in the hiring process.Β
Pay & Benefits
- Salary: $70,012 to $84,011 ($33.66 to $40.39 per hour).
- 2025 Anoka County Salary Schedule Grade 34: $70,012 to $98,009 ($33.66 to $47.12 per hour).

Work Location
- This position will work between the Anoka County Government Center, 2100 3rd Ave, Anoka, MN, 55303, and the Anoka County Highway Building, 1440 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304
- This position may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work, with some days working remotely and some days working in the office.
- Expected work hours are Monday β Friday, 8:00 a.m. β 4:30 p.m.
