Senior Account Manager, Marketing Solutions - San Francisco, CA & Remote (U.S.)

We are looking for an Account Manager who is passionate about managing, maintaining and growing our relationships in our newly formed Gaming Marketing Solutions business line. We are seeking a client services-focused team player who is passionate about games, the game industry, and helping game companies market to the players who are most passionate about their games. You will be responsible for managing and leading the execution of marketing solution campaigns.. As the day-to-day contact for partners, you will handle the post-sales cycle which includes campaign management, reporting, billing, escalations, and other tasks that are essential to the success of the partnership. You will harness your prior experience in advertising/media/marketing spaces and bring a combination of relationship building, industry relationships, product insights, and an ability to win, optimize and expand a recurring book of business with clients. This role will report to the Head of Strategic Partner Management.

What you'll be doing

  • Drive overall client success and be responsible for the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Maintain client pipelines, prioritize accounts and clearly communicate status to cross functional teams and management
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative reports to drive continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation for key accounts and earn repeat business
  • Execute on strategy that supports organizational goals, become an expert in Discord solutions and adapt recommendations to suit varying client needs that creates win-win situations for both Discord and its partners
  • Work with the Sales team and cross-functional colleagues including product, marketing, operations, and data science to ensure client success and achieve defined KPIs
  • You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients  in order to advise them on their strategic marketing and media plans and how Discord solutions can ongoingly contribute to their plans
  • You will demonstrate competence around the gaming, media, marketing, and advertising spaces to clients and within Discord

What you should have

  • 5+ years experience in as an Account Manager in media/advertising/ad tech space or equivalent experience preferably with a focus on the gaming industry
  • Passion for building strong relationships with partners and clients
  • Proven ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and people skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivation and ability to develop new initiatives
  • Ability to work and self-direct in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and data trend analysis/presentation
  • Technical aptitude

The total annual target compensation range for this full-time position is $241,700 to $290,000 + equity + benefits. Our compensation ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the OTE (base salary + target variable compensation) only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
