about the senior account executive role:

the senior account executive is responsible for driving revenue via converting enterprise and high-value leads into longtime soona customers. the senior account executive is a natural leader, ambitious performer and is responsible for a higher quota. 

the senior account executive builds relationships and offers exceptional recommendations that result in large ongoing contracts. on top of being a skilled communicator, the senior account executive meets opportunities with urgency and enthusiasm, is highly organized and able to juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously. this role innovates by learning what enterprise customers need and creates customized scopes to earn their business. 

this is a full time, hybrid or remote position that will report directly to the senior director of sales.

Requirements

an ideal candidate can:

  • achieve & exceed quota consistently 
  • build and maintain a strong pipeline and execute outreach outside of incoming leads to manage revenue shortfalls
  • collaborate with other departments to support enterprise needs and create new products/processes where needed  
  • create & sell new streams of revenue based on client needs 
  • accurately scope projects based on soona’s profitablitly goals 
  • support in create and implement processes for CRM & lead management
  • set an example via stellar performance & coaching support for team
  • effectively pass off all previous knowledge to account & shoot teams to ensure success 
  • report on data, providing insights to evolve the sales strategy to engage audiences and potential customers more effectively
  • participate in travel when needed

has experience in:

  • 5+ years sales and revenue-driving experience
  • selling $30k+ contracts 
  • scoping enterprise photo & video production 
  • testing, establishing and improving processes that increase efficiency and revenue  
  • exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • analytical mindset, skilled at data and reporting analysis
  • thrives in a fast-pace, ever-changing startup environment
  • B.A. preferred (in relevant field of business, marketing, communication)
  • proficient with G Suite, Hubspot, Slack as well as social media platforms
  • access to a reliable internet connection
