We are currently looking to add an experienced Senior 2D Artist to our already amazing team. As a “Snowmie” artist, you will use your advanced skills to help our client studios bring their games to realization.

2D Art is a wide category that covers many disciplines: concept art, production assets, diagrams, storyboards, graphic design, marketing illustration etc. All these responsibilities are encompassed in the role we refer to as Production Artist.

Are you up for the challenge?

Some of the cool stuff you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with client studios to bring their games and features to realization
  • Working with other artists and directors to create beautiful, game-ready art assets
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to realize their vision
  • Working in a variety realistic and stylized art styles to create character, environment, vehicle and prop concepts and assets
  • Visually developing new art styles in addition to matching existing art styles
  • Working with artists, designers and developers in-engine to integrate and optimize art assets

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 6+ years professional experience in video game art or animation
  • Shipped game title(s) on mobile, console and/or PC
  • Experience working directly with external clients and stakeholders
  • Experience with modern game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine and/or proprietary game engines
  • Ability to match art styles and create assets consistent with existing IP
  • Experience in multiple aspects of digital 2D art: concept art, production assets, design diagrams, storyboards, graphic design, marketing illustration etc.

  • Experience leading art teams
  • 3D art experience
  • Animation or cinematics experience
  • In-engine lighting experience

  • Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 depending on experience level

This is a remote or hybrid position; however, candidates must reside in Ontario/Quebec
