Position SummaryThe Office of Information Security works collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organization to assess the information security landscape of the enterprise. We engage our community to foster a security-aware culture by producing original communications, developing, collecting, curating, and administering training materials, and conducting phish testing.

This job will provide guidance, manage requests, evaluate opportunities, and develop communications related to the Information Security Policy Library. This role requires the candidate to engage a diverse audience in clear and accurate communications about information security best practices that are conveyed in the policy library. The candidate should possess excellent writing and public-speaking skills. The ideal candidate is a driven team-player, capable of wearing multiple hats, with experience working in a dynamic environment.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize content from policies and standards to create clear and actionable written and verbal communications for a diverse audience of faculty, staff, and students.  
  • Plan and manage events for annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month.  
  • Deliver enthusiastic presentations about the policy library as a guest speaker in various meetings across campus.
  • Develop training curriculum  related to the policy library.  
  • Analyze readership and training data to understand and improve program performance.  
  • Other duties as required.

Salary Range$65,900.00 - $112,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
