Security Policy Advocate (Time-Limited/Remote) - WUIT

This job will provide guidance, manage requests, evaluate opportunities, and develop communications related to the Information Security Policy Library. This role requires the candidate to engage a diverse audience in clear and accurate communications about information security best practices that are conveyed in the policy library. The candidate should possess excellent writing and public-speaking skills. The ideal candidate is a driven team-player, capable of wearing multiple hats, with experience working in a dynamic environment.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Synthesize content from policies and standards to create clear and actionable written and verbal communications for a diverse audience of faculty, staff, and students.
- Plan and manage events for annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
- Deliver enthusiastic presentations about the policy library as a guest speaker in various meetings across campus.
- Develop training curriculum related to the policy library.
- Analyze readership and training data to understand and improve program performance.
- Other duties as required.
