As a Security Operations Engineer, youâll collaborate with a diverse and inquisitive team in a rapidly growing environment. Your role will be pivotal in identifying threats, mitigating risks, and building systems that enhance Cedarâs security posture. From planning cross-functional security exercises to developing custom tooling and investigating anomalous behavior, youâll work on impactful challenges that protect Cedar and the tens of millions of patients we serve.

About you
- Youâre an engineer with a security mindset who tackles challenges with technology over process.
- You have experience solving technical problems collaboratively in dynamic environments.
- You excel at communicating security risks and controls to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Youâre proactive about raising concerns and proposing improvements.
- Youâre familiar with at least one general-purpose programming language
Bonus points if you have:
- Familiarity with securing health and payments data, including HIPAA and PCI compliance.
- Hands-on experience investigating security incidents in complex environments.
- A track record of developing innovative solutions for security âŚ
