VENZA is currently seeking a Security Associate to add to its IT Security team.


Accountability Summary

This is a unique full-time hourly opportunity for a professional who wants to play an important role in a growing company. Reporting to the Security Manager, the Security Associate will help to perform audits and ensure compliance, as well as contribute to other company initiatives. 


This individual will support all security standards, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and PIN Entry Device (PED) Security Requirements. The Security Associate will also provide Level 1 support to all VENZA customers anticipate needs and implement adequate interventions, as required. This individual will provide customers with the knowledge and guidance they need by responding to support items with experience and tact. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help manage SAQ documentation to facilitate PCI DSS compliance for clients.
  • Maintain notes on client progression/status.
  • Assist in process discussions and enhancements.
  • Work with the Legal department to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to implement security protocols.
  • 24/7 turn-around on support tickets with exceptional and timely management of client tickets via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Weekend and after-hours support mindfulness
  • Assist in the deployment of products including (but not limited to) the VENZA LMS™ and VENZA PEAK® platform (assembling user lists, creating groups and departments, etc.)
  • This can include tactical management of programs like data entry and file upload via CSV.
  • Manage Matterhorn or Tier 2 accounts as assigned, including but not limited to, prescriptive learning in the Information Security training space.
  • Understand and define the support needs of customers and suggest tools or resources to improve internal processes.
  • Update account and contact records in Teamwork, Active Campaign, and internal Google Docs
Requirements
  • Preferred bilingual (English/Spanish), with previous Customer Service experience
  • Experience working with customers and managing expectations.
  • A basic knowledge of audit methodologies and security assessment tools, with a willingness to learn more advanced techniques.
  • Methodical and organized; able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience within the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Experience providing application and technical support to customers is preferred, along with knowledge of compliance and information security.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (advanced to expert level) is preferred.
  • Adoption/activation of a small business web-based product (B2B) is a plus.

Compensation

  • Starting at $19 - $20 an hour ($40,000/yr.)
