Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
BILL is looking for a SEC Reporting Manager who will be a key finance department professional assisting with the preparation and filing of SEC reports – annual and quarterly reports on Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other registration statement filings, as necessary. The SEC Reporting Manager will also assist with US GAAP research and drafting technical accounting memos and policies, implementation of new accounting pronouncements, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance in related accounting areas.
Responsibilities:
- Draft SEC filings and financial statements
- Interpret U.S. GAAP accounting standards and SEC guidance to determine the accounting and financial reporting treatment
- Draft technical accounting memos and policies documenting accounting research and conclusions
- Analyze peers’ filings and industry reports to assess trends in financial statement disclosures
- Monitor and revise policies and procedures as needed to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over external financial reporting
- Support annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
We’d love to chat if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Active California CPA required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Big 4 firm
- Excellent understanding of US GAAP with a strong knowledge of SEC reporting regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
