The Job

We’re looking for Seasonal Customer Care Reps to join our team for the 24-25 Winter season! Our Customer Care team is a vital component of the evo customer experience. We are an energetic and empathetic bunch, with engaging personalities and a wealth of gear knowledge to share. Although we’re fully remote, we put an emphasis on fostering community within our team and motivating each other to get outside and ignite our adventurous spirit as often as possible. Working in Customer Care will give you an opportunity to expand your product knowledge, learn the systems and processes that support online retail, and help our customers spend more time adventuring outside. This is a remote work position (WA, OR, CO, and UT only).

The Opportunity

  • Provide a world class customer service experience via phone, email, or live chat & SMS  
  • Offer product advice and recommendations based on customers' specific needs    
  • Help customers with any post purchase challenges (delivery delays, lost/damaged shipments, etc)  
  • Assist customers looking to return or exchange items  
  • Embody evo Style while communicating effectively through all contact channels  
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and a strong ability to multi-task  
  • Maintain a positive outlook and good sense of humor in a fast-paced environment   
  • Spend 8 hours per day handling phone calls, around 50-80 calls per day  
  • Consistently go above and beyond customer expectations  
  • Exemplify evo’s the Great 8  
  • Responsibilities may change frequently based on evolving needs or seasonal shifts in workload. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

The Must Haves

  • Must be available evenings, weekends, and some holidays  
  • Enjoy talking to people on the phone and working in front of a computer  
  • Passion for the outdoor industry, associated activities, and the gear we sell (Advanced bike knowledge a plus) 
  • Strong Verbal and Written communication skills  
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail  
  • Demonstrate effective Sales and Soft Skills techniques 
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a high-energy, fast-paced, omni-channel retail environment  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel  
  • Consistent High-speed internet connection  
  • Outdoor Industry experience, nice to have
  • Experience with NetSuite and Five9, nice to have 

Other Details:

  • Wage: $19.50-24.92/hour
  • Duration: Through January 1st (with possible opportunity to extend beyond) 
  • Remote position available to individuals in WA, OR, UT, CO 
  • The schedule is published approximately 2 weeks in advance 

The Nice to Haves

  • High School diploma
  • Fluency in a foreign language
  • Outdoor industry or retail experience
  • Fluency in a foreign language

The base wage for this role ranges from $19.50 to $24.92 per hour. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
